Jai Ho Promotion: Is There A RSS-Saffron Agenda?

Jai Ho, the latest Salman Khan flick, is all set to hit the theatres this Friday. A lot of speculation rose when Salman met Gujarat CM Narendra Modi and praised him a 'good man'. When a lot of people said Salman is trying to promote Modi, Salman clarified that he met Gurajat CM only for the promotion of his film Jai Ho.

Media still speculates that Salman's film has a saffron (RSS/BJP) agenda inside, which nobody associated with Jai Ho will agree! In fact, truth is far from that. If you really take a keen look at the trailer, it may dawn upon you that Dabangg Khan's film actually has a main villain who wears a saffron RSS-style shawl while committing anarchic, violent deeds.

In a scene where he misbehaves with Tabu's character, it is literally visible. So Salman's strategy can be more trickier than the media believe. Jai Ho has a villain who roams around in a saffron shawl and the film still is getting a tax free run in Gujarat, ruled by BJP.

Salman wants the film to reach to the masses and that's why he goes to an extra mile to make the film tax free! If the film projects a villain with RSS shades and when Salman is adamant that he will vote for Congress candidates in his constitution, it's high time for people to understand that there cannot be a saffron agenda in the film.

So, it's time media and fans should direct their thoughts in the exact opposite direction!
