The
Bombay
High
Court
has
raised
questions
on
the
charge
sheet
filed
by
Mumbai
police
in
the
Jiah
Khan's
suicide
case.
Earlier,
the
Court
had
asked
the
police
to
file
a
reply
on
April
7,
2014
as
to
why
all
the
evidence
wasn't
attached
in
the
chargesheet.
Today
the
case
came
before
the
court.
Mahesh
Jethmalini
represented
for
Jiah
Khan's
mother
Rabiya
Khan,
argued
in
the
court
that
the
new
material
has
come
up
and
the
investigating
officer
should
have
considered
it.
High
Court
earlier
questioned
why
the
video
recording
of
the
postmortem
and
the
details
of
the
deleted
BBM
msgs
and
SMS
of
Suraj
Pancholi
phone
were
not
attached
with
the
charge
sheet?
Also
High
Court
questioned,
why
investigation
was
not
done
on
the
suspicion
and
objection
raised
by
Jiah
Khan's
family?
Why
police
didn't
investigate
the
forensic
lapses??
High
Court
asked
prosecution
to
file
a
reply
to
these
questions
after
consulting
the
Investigating
officer
of
the
case.
Today,
Juhu
police
submitted
the
report
in
the
court
regarding
the
suicide
case
.
Jiah
family
today
moved
the
High
Court
demanding
a
CBI
or
SIT
probe
in
the
matter..
Advocate
Mahesh
Jethmalani
represented
Jiah
Khan's
mother.
He
argued
that
it
is
a
case
of
homicide
not
a
suicide.
Mr
Jethmalani
said
that
according
to
medical
reports
the
cause
of
death
is
asphyxia
and
a
blue
concussion
on
the
arm
is
not
mentioned
in
the
post-mortem
report
as
it
is
a
mark
of
struggle.
He
added
that
the
mark
is
seen
in
a
photograph
and
that
it
is
a
case
of
hanging
by
muslin
cloth
used
for
namaz.
He
stressed
that
Muslin
cloth
cannot
make
a
mark
like
the
one
found
on
her
skin.
Mahesh
Jethmalani
also
referred
to
evidence
that
suggests
she
committed
suicide
after
returning
from
her
boyfriend's
house.
He
also
brought
before
the
court
other
evidence
like
her
call
and
SMS
record,
urging
the
court
to
hand
over
the
investigation
to
the
CBI
or
a
special
investigating
authority.
Is
it
a
suicide
or
a
homicide,
only
the
proofs
will
tell!
