Karan Johar Accepts Mahesh Bhatt's Rice Bucket Challenge

The Rice Bucket Challenge is the Indian version of the famous 'ice bucket challenge' of the US and recently filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt lent support it by distributing biryani packets among the needy at a program organised here by Taj Falaknuma Palace.

During the even Bhatt challenged yet another filmmaker Karan Johar to participate and support this charity. Mahesh said, "We challenge the film industry's young and talented filmmaker Karan Johar... We have lit a lamp here. You light a lamp there. That is only way we can end the darkness from the country and the world."

Filmmaker Karan Johar accepted Mahesh's challenge and took to Twitter to announce this, he tweeted, "#ricebucketchallenge accepted @MaheshNBhatt..From dharma on its way to good karma.I nominate our CEO @apoorvamehta18."

Karan has now challenged the CEO of his production house to take part in this RIce Bucket Challenge. Bollywood has always stepped up when it came to such campaigns. The Ice Bucket Challenge was taken up by more than half the film fraternity and this time around too the Bollywood celebrities are likely to take part with full josh and do their bit of share in helping this good cause.
