Karan Johar To Now Act In Alia Bhatt's Shaandaar

Vikas Bahl's upcoming movie Shaandaar became instantly popular the moment the film was announced. First time pairing of Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor definitely boosted the film's popularity and now it will only increase with Karan Johar joining the cast of the movie as well.

The director who is making his acting debut as a villain in Bombay Velvet is acting in yet another movie and it is none other than Shaandaar. Earlier he had turned down the offer to play the role of Alia Bhatt's father in the movie but now he is said to be back in a different role in the same movie.

The Highway actress is Karan Johar's most loved protege and it will be super exciting to watch the duo on-screen together. Since he is not doing the full-fledged role of a father he has agreed to do a cameo in the film and it was none other than Alia who convinced him to pay a small role in the movie.

Alia and Karan have even started shooting in London for their portion in the film. Anyways Shahid Kapoor's real father, Pankaj Kapoor is playing the reel life father of Alia Bhatt in Shaandaar, a role Karan had rejected.
