Kareena Joins Singham 2 Team

Producers of Singham 2, now, has roped in Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead in the film. This will, surely, boost the marketing of the film to another level. Yes, Kareena Kapoor Khan is roped in Rohit Shetty's Singham 2 as he has managed to write a meaty role for her.

Earlier, there were reports that Kareena won't be a part of this project as she was not impressed with the relatively unimportant lead role given to her. Now that Rohit Shetty instructed the writers to give more importance to her character,she agreed to do the movie. This role is as important as Ajay Devgn's role in the movie and will suit her star status too !

A source close to Rohit says, " Rohit rewrote the script in such a way that Kareena has got a substantial role to play in the film. So she met Rohit again and consented. Final script of Singham 2 looks so fabulous."

Rohit Shetty and Kareena Kapoor Khan have worked together earlier in Golmaal Returns and Golmaal 3. Kareena, now in a raising phase of her career, feels that her hubby Saif is showing sparks of brilliance in every film. She will be shooting for Singham 2 in February.

Other promising upcoming film of Kareena is Karan Malhotra's 'Shuddhi' where she is paired up with Hrithik Roshan after a long time since their early collaboration in 'Yaadein'. There were rumous of her getting replaced with Deepika Padukone in the film but its producer Karan Johar and Karan Malhotra rubbished the rumours and confirmed Kareena's involvement in the film.
