KJO-Rohit Shetty Team Up To Remake Ram Lakhan

Karan Johar and the magnum opus director Rohit Shetty team up for the first time to remake the film Ram Lakhan. The famous 1989 Ram Lakhan featuring Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff will be remade.

The new version of Ram Lakhan will be out in 2016. Ram Lakhan will be made in association with Mukta Arts founded by Subhash Ghai.

In the 1989 Ram Lakhan, Anil Kapoor played the role of Ram and Jackie Shroff played Lakhan. The buzz now is that Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan are roped in to play the lead roles.

Karan Johar was the director who introduced Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan with Student of The Year. Ram Lakhan will be their second film together.

Ram Lakhan is a story about two brothers who part ways due to differences and how they reunite and rescue each other. The 1989 film was directed and produced by Subhash Ghai. The lead actresses were Madhuri Dixit and Dimple Kapadia. However, the leading ladies for the remake is still not confirmed.

Looking at the grand collaboration of two big wigs of Bollywood, Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar this remake will sure win many hearts as it did with the original in 1989!
