Lisa Haydon-Anupam Kher Get Drunk On Sets Of The Shaukeens

Acting is no easy task, and the cast of The Shaukeens has been giving it their all. Leaving no stone unturned for their roles in the film, actress Lisa Haydon and Anupam Kher even downed a little too much red wine to bring a realistic feel to the shot.

During the shoot of the movie The Shauukeens in Mauritius, lead actors Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra and Lisa Haydon were scheduled to travel to three different locations to shoot three different scenes, all in one day.

Each location was about two hours away from the next, and they were all tired by the end of the day when Lisa and Anupam Kher were to be filmed while drinking wine. The two decided to break away from the tradition of using mock drinks and filmed the scene while drinking actual red wine.

By the time the final shot was taken, the two had downed three to four glasses each. Apparently, they were both quite tipsy. A source from the sets said, "Luckily, it was the last scene for the day. So, no one noticed that the actors were actually in high spirits."

Movie The Shaukeens is a remake of 1982 comedy movie Shaukeen directed by Basu Chatterjee. It stars Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra and Lisa Haydon along with Akshay Kumar in his most special appearance. Produced by Cine1 Studios, Cape Of Good Films & Ashwin Varde Productions and directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film is set to release on November 7, 2014.
