CONFIRMED: Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro Release Date

Bollywood bigwigs Hrithik Roshan and Ashutosh Gowarikar come together again in Mohenjo Daro after Jodhaa Akbar. Mohenjo Daro is a big ticket for Bollywood and the release date is now confirmed.

Mohenjo Daro is slated to release on January 22, 2016 ahead of India's Republic day.

"'Mohenjo Daro' starring Hrithik and introducing Pooja Hegde to release on 22nd Jan 2016 @agppl_tweets," read a tweet from the official Twitter handle of the film's co-producers UTV Motion Pictures Monday.

Gowariker has roped in Oscar-nominated and Emmy Award-winning international costume designer April Ferry to put her creative forces together for the film and the announcement of the release date comes after this big news.

Mohenjo Daro is jointly produced by Disney India's Studio business and Ashutosh Gowariker Production Pvt. Ltd. (AGPPL) is a love story set against the Indus Valley ciivilisation.

First schedule of the film will start in South Africa and it is due to go on the floors in October 2014. After Jodhaa Akbar, the duo are coming back together with this movie and it is highly awaited film.

Hrithik Roshan is currently busy with his Bang Bang film.
