Director Neeraj Pandey's Novel Khalib Danger Becomes A Film

Abundantia Entertainment of Vikram Malhotra is joining hands with Special 26 director Neeraj Pandey for making his best selling novel Ghalib Danger into a Bollywood film.

According to the latest contract, Vikram Malhotra's production house will have the rights to remake the novel in several media such as digital & online media,games, graphic novels and television.

Neeraj Pandey, who made two highly successful films, said, "It's always wonderful to collaborate with like-minded people and 'Ghalib Danger' was a fantastic opportunity for Friday Filmworks and Abundantia to come together. It will be interesting to see this content getting exploited across entertainment platforms".

Vikram Malhotra, Founder and CEO of Abundantia Entertainment was also thrilled about the project. An excited Vikram said, "Abundantia is founded with the vision to support and promote progressive and clutter-breaking content. The ability to adapt a best-seller like 'Ghalib Danger' into a major movie and to partner with Neeraj on the film represented a significant opportunity."

He also opined that it is his pleasure to bring the book alive for its fans spread across the globe. Ghalib Danger is the captivating story of a taxi driver, Kamran Ali who works in Mumbai and dreams of making it big one day.

Neeraj Pandey admits that the lead character is a work of fiction that popped out of an extensive research in the same genre.
