Playing
the
role
of
female
boxer
Mary
Kom
definitely
has
been
one
of
the
toughest
thing
to
do
for
Bollywood
actress
Priyanka
Chopra
and
her
tough
voyage
from
being
stunning
Priyanka
to
strong
Mary
Kom
can
be
assessed
by
the
words
of
Priyanka's
makeup
artiste.
Already,
Priyanka
has
endured
many
injuries
since
the
start
of
shooting
for
the
biopic
and
recently,
a
mistimed
punch
knocked
Priyanka
down
and
left
the
lower
portion
of
her
right
eye
dark.
Not
only
that,
the
director
of
the
film
Omung
Kumar
has
decided
to
retain
the
mark
below
her
eye
to
have
a
more
real
picture.
"While
filming
a
boxing
scene
with
an
actor
from
North-East,
Priyanka
got
accidentally
hit
below
her
eye
and
fell
on
the
floor
due
to
the
impact.
She
got
the
injury
mark
on
the
exact
spot
and
so
the
director
decided
to
retain
it.
The
cut
mark
that
you
will
eventually
see
on
screen
under
her
eye
is
real
but
we
did
implement
makeup
to
make
it
look
deeper," informed
Priyanka's
makeup
artiste,
Uday
Shirale.
Although
Priyanka
was
strong
enough
to
overcome
the
pain
but
it
took
almost
an
hour
for
the
brave
actress
to
re-start
the
shooting.
Priyanka's
look
specialist
also
rejected
the
rumours
of
her
using
prosthetic
makeup
in
the
film
Mary
Kom
Biopic
and
claimed
to
have
mostly
used
regular
makeup.
"The
prosthetics
haven't
taken
me
longer
than
an
hour
but
mostly
it's
regular
make-up
only
and
she
would
be
ready
within
20
minutes
flat," he
said.
Priyanka
who
herself
also
admitted
the
journey
as
one
of
her
hardest
is
finally
done
with
the
shooting
of
her
much
anticipated
upcoming
movie
Mary
Kom
and
on
April
18
she
tweeted,
"Last
two
days
of
Mary
Kom
shoot.
It's
been
harder
than
the
hardest.
Kudos
to
the
crew
for
keeping
it
together.
All
good
things
come
to
an
end."
The
movie
Mary
Kom
is
set
to
release
on
October
2.
