Priyanka To Play Sahir Ludhianvi's Love Interest In Biopic

Actress Priyanka Chopra is enjoying the high time in her career. As per reports, the exotic actress will be seen in the biopic of legendary poet-lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi. The biopic is titled as Gustaakhiyaan.

Priyanka will portray the role of Amrita Pritam who publicly accepted her love for the legendary Sahir Ludhianvi. Both met each other in Delhi after the partition but Ludhianvi remained bachelor for his entire life.

Actor Irrfan Khan will essay the role of Ludhianvi, but who will play the female lead opposite Irrfan was not clear. Producer Ashi Dua will be directing the biopic starring Irrfan and Priyanka. Amrita Pritam's love for Ludhianvi was so ardent that their relationship was most talked about thing in Amrita's autobiography Rasidi Ticket.

Both Irrfan and Priyanka have worked together in the films like Gunday and Saat Khoon Maaf. Priyanka Chopra is busy promoting the biopic in which she played the role of Olympic winning boxer Mary Kom.
