Proud Of Varun Dhawan, Says Daddy

Director David Dhawan feels proud of his son Varun who recently gave the biggest hit film of his career. Varun's film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania has earned more than Rs. 60 Crore in first ten days.

The director said, "Yes indeed, I am proud of him, he is maturing well as an actor, as can be seen in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya. This was not just a film where you sing and dance and move on. There are so many sensitive scenes in the film and I am glad that after a fun film (Student of the Year) and an out and out comedy (Main Tera Hero), he has got the sur right for a romantic comedy too."

David Dhawan has directed more than 40 films also appreciated the chemistry between Varun and Alia. The director was quoted saying, "A love story works on the basis of chemistry and despite being so young, Varun and Alia have been able to ignite it so well."

HSKD is a romantic comedy film directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar.
