Rekha's Super Nani To Clash With SRK's Happy New Year

Veteran actress Rekha's much-awaited film 'Super Nani' will release this Diwali when superstar Shahrukh Khan's 'Happy New Year' will also hit the screens.

Touted as Rekha's long awaited comeback to mainstream venture, the film also stars Sharman Joshi, Shweta Kumar, Anupam Kher and Randhir Kapoor.

The film gives a strong message to women that their power lies within themselves. Rekha plays the role of Bharti Bhatia and Sharman essays the part of her grandson in the movie. 'Super Nani' is co-produced and directed by Indra Kumar.

Ashok Thakeria co-producer confirmed the news, saying "Yes, we are planning to release our film on Diwali."

Ashok also said it is a complete family entertainer, "It's a film of a family for every family. And Diwali is a festival when the entire family comes together to celebrate with pooja, food, crackers and movies. So what better time than Diwali! Super Nani is not just a celebration of women power but that of the family too."

Shahrukh Khan's Happy New Year is also scheduled to release on Diwali this year. With Rekha's Super Nani clashing with SRK's Happy New Year which film will hit the right chord?

We are sure Shahrukh has his own fan following and so is Rekha, but looking at the reviews Happy New Year trailer has got, we are not sure about the fate of this Farah Khan's movie.
