Salman Khan Stands In Queue Like A Common Man

Salman Khan and Team Jai Ho went to a suburban theatre to watch Sholay 3D which is receiving rave reviews for its fabulous 3d rotoscoped scenes. According to the sources close to him, it was his treat for Jai Ho team for wrapping up the film with wonderful quality.

Salman was working hard to appear in public places just like a common man to promote his common man themed Jai Ho. He even stood in the queue at the box office to buy a ticket for himself and the team. In this age of online ticket booking, reason for a superstar like Salman standing in the queue is quite easy to guess.

He said to the media, "We have come to watch Sholay because we want to get the whole idea of watching films in theatres ( as the custom was) back then. Sholay is an epic film and I have come to represent my father for the amazing work he has done. I hope Jai Ho is like a patch of this film and that we have learnt well from my father." It was Salman's father Salim Khan who co-wrote Sholay with Javed Akhtar. The most successful writer duo of yesteryear, Salim-Javed wrote many iconic films of the 70's and 80's.

Salman, in an effort to protect himself from the winter winds, wore a jacket and looked very casual in his looks. Daisy Shah, the female lead of Salman's Jai Ho, was seen in a pink blazer over denims. Sana Khan, another star Salman presents in Jai Ho, accompanied them. Sangeeth Bijlani, Salman's ex girlfriend was also present at Sholay 3D screening.
