Top vocalist Shreya Ghoshal sung couple of songs in the album. Kapil says, "These lines reflect my view of the world, how things touch me and my admission of the imperfect. How we haven't done enough for large sections of our population."

He didn't forget to praise the musical genius AR Rahman. He adds, "I felt my words had found their soul in his tunes. His tone and texture is free of any extravaganza. He creates music, not items. When I wrote these songs, I wanted them in the hands of someone who had consistency of thought and I think Rahman's music has that."

Let's hope that Rahman's new offering Raunaq will be a great success.
