Salman To Do Double Role In Sooraj Barjatya’s Film

Salman Khan will be seen in a double role in Sooraj Barjatya's latest film. The last time Salman did a double role was in 1997, in Judwaa produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by David Dhawan.

Sooraj is working on the script at this point in time and a great chunk of information about the film is not available till now. But it is reported that the new Salman film will be very different from Sooraj's trademark films. The subject is very close to his father's heart and it revolves around young royalty where a lead actress will be donning the role of a princess.

There is no confirmation on who would be romancing Dabanng Khan in the film but it is widely rumoured that Sonam Kapoor is in top among the list of contenders. Deepika Padukone, who is praised by Salman in a recent award night , was approached to do the female lead role for this film but she couldn't commit to this exciting project, thanks to lack of dates.

This brand new Salman film will start shooting in May, at ND studios in Kajrat. A source close to the makers of the films says, " A big set is in construction at the studio. Majority of the scenes will be shot in the set.

The film is scheduled to release during Diwali season, next year.
