Salman Visits Siddhivinayak Temple

Salman Khan, born to a Muslim father and Hindu mother, has been very secular in his religious and spiritual ideologies, from the beginning. There were fatwas against him for participating in Ganesh Pooja festivals but he never cared for such bans and control freak activities of others but went ahead with what he believed as right.

Yesterday, Salman stopped by Siddhivinayak temple and offered his thanks for making his last film Jai Ho enter in the prestigious 100 crore club. Salman came to the temple with his Jai Ho co-star Daisy Shah and sister Arpita Khan and Ness Wadia.

Many Bollywood celebrities such as Deepika Padukone, Shilpa Shetty to Ekta Kapoor are regular visitors at the temple. Lord Ganesh has always been Salman's favorite god and now Salman also joined the list of B town celebrities who visit Siddhivinayak temple. He is always keen to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with his family and friends.

Salman was seen in a real moustache he is growing for his upcoming comedy-action flick Kick. Salman also sports a French beard for this Telugu remake which was a money spinner down south. Salman's last film Jai Ho was an average grosser compared to his other blockbusters like Ek Tha Tiger, Ready and Dabangg 2.
