Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra Face-Off This Diwali!

It seems a big clash of the titans is on the cards in Bollywood as two highly anticipated films Shahid Kapoor's Haider and Priyanka Chopra's Mary Kom Biopic are set to release on the same date.

Some days back, makers of the movie Mary Kom starring Priyanka Chopra announced the release date of the film as October 2. But little was expected that Shahid Kapoor featured Haider will also decide October 2 as its release date.

The film Haider directed by Vishal Bhardwaj is based on William Shakespeare's Hamlet and a major portion of the film has been shot in Kashmir. While, the movie Mary Kom directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali will have Priyanka Chopra playing the character of female boxer from Manipur, Mary Kom. Both the flicks have garnered huge anticipation and it will be interesting to see the box office status when both the films hit the theatres on the same date.

On the other hand, another big budget film Bang Bang starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif is also under the lens and according to some rumours, Bang Bang makers might also pick up the same October 2 as its release date.

Well, it seems that the month of October will have a huge clash of titans in the B-Town just on the eve of Diwali.
