Shahid Kapoor Waiting For 'Haider' Break

Shahis Kapoor who has given hit film like Jab We Met is awaiting his good break through Haider. Shahid is trying to come out of his 'flop film actor' tag jinx.

Haider directed by Vishal Bharadwaj is a modern-day adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet. Shahid Kapoor has impressed many with his performance from the first look of the film's trailer.

Shraddha Kapoor has also given her best for this film. Haider which will hit the theaters on October 2 will also compete with Hrithik Roshan's Bang Bang at the Box Office.

However, Shahid Kapoor just doesn't feel the pressure and feels that both the films will shine with it's own unique story. Shahid Kapoor is busy with Shaandar now opposite Alia Bhatt.

"Haider has stripped me off much than R... Rajkumar because it's amazing and liberating when you go out there and shave your head to do four hours of work," says Shahid.

Shasha further adds, "Yes going from a genre to another, from filmmaker like Prabhu Dheva to Vishal Bhardwaj, it definitely makes you understand that you've stepped ahead from one spectrum to another. It's tiring, scary and liberating but I am up for anything now."
