Shahrukh Khan Wants To Start Sports Academy

Shahrukh Khan said in a recent interaction with press that he wants to start his own sports academy for new and young talents.

Speaking about his show 'Living with KKR', (gripping story of Indian Premier League Team, - IPL Kolkata Knight Riders' transformation from a group of struggling players to a formidable champion of the league) that will be showcased on Discovery, Shahrukh Khan also revealed about his intention to start a sports academy.

Shahrukh Khan said that he never felt that he chose the wrong team and every time they lose a match, Shahrukh keeps trying to 'pep up' his team to ensure that they never lose hope. Shahrukh Khan has already begun to encourage the team of Kolkatta Knight Riders even before the commencement of IPL season in April. Apart from that, the actor has been contemplating plans for his team.

Shahrukh Khan has always been a diehard fan of football and loved playing the game since his college days. In Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Shahrukh Khan was shown playing football. In fact, in those days, many young boys became interested in the sport because of SRK. Shahrukh Khan wants to do a lot to promote the game of football and intends to travel to Kolkata and do something for the players so that their interest and enthusiasm in the game increases.

Through his sports academy, Shahrukh Khan intends to train young and talented players in a way that they can earn income from what they enjoy doing! SRK also added that if this season's IPL will be held in South Africa, he will miss the craze among cricket fans in India.
