Confirmed: Sidharth Malhotra Replaced Imran Khan In Bhavesh Joshi

It is confirmed that Siddharth Malhotra will replace Imran Khan in director Vikramaditya Motwane's upcoming flick, Bhavesh Joshi. Rumours are such that Sidharth's performance in Hasee Toh Phasee highly impressed Vikramaditya who later chose to cast Sid instead of Imran Khan, who still hasn't found his place in Bollywood, even with the heavy support of uncle Aamir Khan.

At some point, talks were going with Ranveer Singh as he already worked with Vikramaditya in the critically acclaimed Lootera.

Two of them share a mutual respect and Vikramaditya was very impressed with the dedication and discipline Ranveer displayed in the sets of Lootera which also had Sonakshi Sinha in the lead.

The pre-production work, including the script work, is in process now. It is rumoured that the third directorial venture of Vikramaditya will be a social drama. The title of the film itself has caused a curiosity in B town circle.

Sidharth is now busy shooting for Ekta Kapoor's new production, Ek Villain, which is being directed by Aashiqui 2 director Mohit Suri. Shraddha Kapoor is the pair of Sid in this film which is touted as romantic thriller. Ritesh Deshmukh also will be featured in this movie in which Sidharth plays a lead character with grey shades.
