Surprise! Kareena Kapoor In 'The Shaukeens'

After the revelation about Abhishek Bachchan's cameo role in The Shaukeens, now it's none other than Kareena Kapoor who will make her screen presence in the same film.

The Shaukeens is a remake of the original movie Shaukeen. Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra are in the lead role alongside Lisa Haydon.

Although director Abhishek Sharma kept this news low key, he was visibly excited and said, "I had never worked with Kareena before this. When she is in front of the camera, she is just electrifying. And she has such great comic timing - we had a blast."

A leading daily quotes saying, "In fact, when the two met at the shoot, Kareena and Sharma got along like a house on fire. Though she hadn't seen his first film, she told him she had heard great things about it. She even expressed a keen desire to watch The Shaukeens before she leaves for Delhi in the first week of November for a film shooting."

The Shaukeens hits the theaters on November 7.
