Tabu Rejects Role As Mom To PC

Noted actress Tabu rejected a film by Zoya Akhtar as she was uncomfortable playing a mom to Priyanka Chopra. Tabu rejected the offer as she was not feeling good to play an older woman.

The role Zoya Akhtar offered, required her to play a mom to 31 year Priyanka Chopra. Tabu was approached for this role a little while back by Zoya but she rejected it upright saying, she wouldn't suit the part.

Zoya's next venture Dil Dhadakne do is about a dysfunctional punjabi family. Pinky Chops and Ranveer Singh will be seen in the movie as siblings. It is heard that the film is shot extensively around the World in exciting locations on a cruise liner. The movie also features Anil Kapoor, Anushka sharma and Farhan Akhtar.The movie will be released in May 2014.

Tabu is well known for her roles she played in movies like Cheeni kam, Chandini bar. She has also played an important role in the Hollywood movie Life of Pi.The Actress was last seen playing a sister to Salman Khan in Jai Ho. Although, both Tabu and Zoya were unavailable for comments, we think Tabu has set her own standards in Bollywood.
