controversy
in
several
occasions
is
now
in
some
serious
trouble
as
a
Pakistani
court
has
sentenced
26
years
of
imprisonment
for
the
actress
and
her
husband
along
with
some
others
on
charges
of
blasphemy.
One
anti-terrorism
court
in
Pakistan
has
found
the
owner
of
one
media
group
in
Pakistan,
Geo
TV
guilty
of
airing
blasphemous
content
while,
Veena
Malik,
her
husband
Asad
Malik
and
Shayesta
Lodhi
also
were
declared
guilty
for
hosting
the
programme.
A
petition
was
filed
in
the
month
of
May
this
year
alleging
that
the
programme
showed
derogatory
contents
against
the
family
of
Prophet
Hazrat
Muhammad.
As
a
matter
of
fact,
the
programme
was
aired
to
celebrate
the
wedding
of
actress
Veena
Malik
who
was
recently
seen
in
the
Bollywood
movie
Mumbai
125
km.
Along
with
the
26
years
of
imprisonment,
the
court
also
imposed
1.3
million
Pakistani
rupess
on
the
convicts
for
which
their
properties
will
be
sold
if
they
fail
to
pay
the
fine.
Meanwhile,
it
has
been
learnt
that
all
the
convicts
including
Veena
Malik
and
her
husband
are
out
of
Pakistan
and
the
court
has
released
orders
of
their
arrest.
