Vidya Balan Finds A Friend In Farhan Akhtar

It sounds like Shaadi Ke Side Effects co stars Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar are the new friends in the B town. Vidya, 36-year-old actress who is married to UTV head Siddharth Roy Kapur, finds Farhan very humorous and sensitive. Vidya says, "With his straight-faced jokes Farhan Akhtar found an easy bakra in me, I love to laugh and Farhan loves to make people laugh so the 'funda' was very clear."

Vidya reveals that she enjoys Bhaag Milkha Bhaag actor's sense of humour and also lauds his sharp mind. She adds, "I enjoyed his sense of humour. He has a very sharp mind. I have seen the film and I am glad that we got together for this one where the comedy is very true to real life."

Vidya, a Padma Shri recipient, thinks highly of Farhan, who directed the coolest youth film till date, Dil Chahta Hai. She opines that they were a well matched couple in Shaadi Ke Side Effects directed by Saket Chaudhary. She adds, "Farhan is one of those actors who are subtle even in comedy. It is effortless and yet it makes you laugh. He is supremely talented in a multi-dimensional way."

Vidya believes that the heart of acting lies in ‘reaction' and if any of the actors were out of tune, it would have affected the totality of the film. She is happy that all of their co actors were absolutely tuned into each other.
