Vir Das Based ‘Amit Sahni Ki List’ Character On Brother-In-Law

Vir Das, who plays a quirky investment banker in upcoming rom-com Amit Sahni Ki List, recently revealed that he based the character on his brother-in-law.

Confirming the news, Vir Das says, "My brother in law is an investment banker, so he is very suited-booted, very particular about things like the knot of his tie and his hair-cut and is generally a neatness freak, unlike me! So, I actually hung around him for a week to observe his mannerisms and habits, which helped me with my character."

Trailer of the film Amit Sahni Ki List was released recently which reveals the gist of the film in which Vir after having a rather funny break up with his girlfriend, starts his hunt for his Miss Perfect, based on a list of traits that he desires his partner to have.

Produced by Pyxis Pictures and directed by Ajay Bhuyan, Amit Sahni Ki List, which is slated to release on July 18, also stars Vega Tamotia, Anindita Nayar and Kavi Shastri.
