Vir Das Playing A Dark Role For First time!

Vir Das, known for his unique class of comedy on and off the big screen, has stepped out of his comfort zone to play a dark character in Revolver Rani alongside Kangna Ranaut.

Vir known for his stand-up comedy is doing a dark role for the first time. While this unique pairing of Kangna and Vir Das has been doing the rounds already, the news that he is doing a darker shade is creating a buzz now.

"Vir Das has done a completely different role this time. He is playing the role of Kangna's toyboy, who does some desperate things to woo her for his ulterior motive," said a source from the team. He has played a very different character and we are sure that people would be surprised to see him in such a role as he always does comedy," a source said.

While Vir a stand-up comedian, has been doing small roles or multi-starrers in the past, he will be seen as the main lead and romancing a lead actress for the first time on screen.

Both known to have a niche fan following will really be a visual treat for the audiences when it releases on April 25.
