Watch Out For Akshay Kumar In The Shaukeens!

    This weekend provided a special surprise for all Akshay Kumar fans from the makers of The Shaukeens. The film that released on Friday, boasts of an impressive star cast including actor Akshay Kumar who is seen in a 40 minute role in a 123 minute film.

    His character is pivotal to the storyline, the one that ties all the characters together. Audiences have loved his character so much that praises have been pouring in for the actor from all quarters.

     The Khiladi of Bollywood, who essays an alcoholic superstar is said to have loved doing this full length role because all he had to do was be himself but, with a twist.

    Through The Shaukeens, he has shown to the audience his real self. The only difference was that Akshay Kumar does not drink in real life where as in the film he plays a compulsive drunker.

    His role also includes three songs- Ishq Kutta HaiMeherbaani and Alcoholic. The song Meherbani saw him romancing a hot, young mystery woman, the foot tapping number Alcoholic featured Lisa Haydon living it up with Akshay in a yacht full of beautiful women in swimwear and alcohol and peppy track Ishq Kutta Hai showed the actor in a rock star avatar.

    Abhishek Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Suniel Shetty and Dimple Kapadia make special appearances in the film.
