Why Govinda Rejected Salman Khan's Proposal?

Actor Salman Khan and Govinda are known to be good buddies but there was apparently some misunderstanding prevailing between the two since the recent past.

Few months prior, Salman Khan approached Govinda to play a role in his Marathi film but the veteran actor seemed least interested.
And now, Govinda finally revealed the reason behind he not turning up for the Kick actor Salman Khan's proposal to act in the Marathi film.

Govinda who worked with Salman Khan in the film Partner said that he did not like the subject of Salman Khan's Marathi film as it was apparently an art film.

"I din't like the subject of that film. It seemed an art film. I don't do art films. Audiences have certain expectations from me as an actor. They expect to be transported into a make believe world in my cinema. Films rooted to real life are not for me," said Govinda.

The senior actor further added, "I believe in the Rajnikanth school of entertainment which has no bearing on real life. I like doing films where you can hit your enemy from a foot's distance and still get him flying in the air."
