Although,
Yo
Yo
Honey
Singh's
'Lungi
dance'
is
still
a
party
favourite
track
but
the
rapper
is
somewhat
not
happy
with
the
way
the
song
went
by.
Honey
Singh
who
has
recently
become
a
highly
popular
name
in
Bollywood
had
bigger
plans
for
'Lungi
dance'
which
according
to
him
did
not
work
due
to
the
makers
of
Chennai
Express.
"My
song
'Lungi
dance'
had
the
potential
to
go
global
in
a
big
way
like
'Gangnam
style'
but
the
makers
of
the
film
had
different
plans
for
it.
Finally,
it
didn't
go
the
way
I
had
envisioned," said
Honey
Singh.
The
Punjabi
rapper
further
added,
"I
had
to
face
a
lot
of
struggle
abroad
as
people
there
have
a
stereotype
about
the
kind
of
music
that
comes
from
India.
They
think
we
are
capable
of
routine
Bollywood
stuffs
and
nothing
else.
With
'Lungi
dance' I
wanted
to
show
them
that
our
music
has
lot
more
than
just
being
Bollywood."
It
seems
the
cool
Punjabi
artist
had
to
face
a
lot
of
stereotyping
in
the
foreign
lands
and
now
he
is
in
a
payback
mood.
Well,
the
desi
rapper
Honey
Singh
is
having
some
quality
period
now
as
recently
he
had
a
hot
number
with
'Baby
Doll'
Sunny
Leone,
followed
by
his
latest
video
with
the
superstar
Amitabh
Bachchan
as
a
promotion
for
the
upcoming
movie
Bhoothnath
Returns.
The
Yo
Yo
rapper
has
been
in
cloud
nine
these
days
with
some
back
to
back
hit
tracks
like
'Lungi
dance',
'
Sunny
sunny',
'Party
all
night',
'Char
bottle
vodka'
and
many
more.
