Shahrukh Khan bagged the Best Actor award in Zee Cine Awards 2014, while Farhan Akhtar, who delivered a blinder performance in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, is chosen for a special Jury Award. The humorous performance of King Khan in Chennai Express made him win the award.

Zee Cine Awards 2014 held in a glittering, plush ceremony hosted by Abhishek Bachchan and Ritesh Deshmukh. Zee Cine Awards 2014 is one of the most prestigious awards in the country and it was a night stars came down. Bollywood's prominent stars were lined up for the ultimate recognition for their talent.

Bollywood legendary actors and directors were present on the show. Some of them were Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Deepika Padukone, Genelia D'Souza, Subhash Ghai, Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra and Ranveer Singh.

In Chennai Express, Shahrukh Khan portrayed a middle aged Punjabi man who is trapped in a long duel with a gang when he goes to Rameshwaram to get his father's ashes immersed in a river out there. Farhan's performance in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag was flawless as he worked so hard to maintain honesty towards the character which is based on Olympian Milkha Singh.
