60th Filmfare Awards 2014: Best Supporting Actress- Tabu (Haider)

60th Filmfare Awards 2014 is just going up the momentum. The Best of designers have been chosen by the actors and actresses and they showcased their style at the red carpet.

While the actors giving their performances, hosts Kapil Sharma and Karan Johar are keeping the audience entertained. The awards have been given away one by one.

Tabu

It's time for Best Supporting actor (Female) category. The nominations for this were Tabu- Haider, Amrita Singh- 2 States, Dimpla Kapadia- Finding Fanny, Juhi Chawla- Gulaab Gang and Lisa Haydon- Queen.

Tabu won the award hands down. The actress who claims that she blabbers at the awards ceremony often said, "Today I want to applaud everyone in the film industry who wrote great characters for women."

Haider has been nominated in many categories and is a critically acclaimed film. It did quite well at the box office last year too.

Highway was another movie which was nominated in many categories. Alia Bhatt won for the film Highway under Best Actress (critics). Best film (critics) was bagged by Ankhon Dekhi.
