Actress Richa Chadda Criticizes PM Narendra Modi’s ‘Selfie With Daughter’ Campaign!

One of the most phenomenal actresses of Bollywood, Richa Chadda, who has always been a vocal supporter of women's rights, recently criticized PM Narendra Modi‘s popular campaign ‘Selfie With Daughter'.

According to IANS, she said, " The problems of the female - dowry, sexual harassment, eve teasing and others - cannot be solved by selfie or anything like that."

Few days back, actress Shruti Seth also criticized PM Narendra Modi's campaign on micro blogging site and got trolled by the Modi fans on Twitter.

The Masaan actress also talked about freedom of Indian girls and their liberty to make crucial decisions of their lives.

She said, "Freedom for every Indian girl first and foremost is to take birth. She should then take up education, choose the career of her choice and marry the person she wishes to marry. As of now, if something of this magnitude happens, it'd still a significant development," said Richa.

Incidentally, she has also played strong women characters in most of her films, a strong widow in Gangs of Wasseypur series, a gangster in Fukrey and a criminal in Tamanchey. She even used swear words and flamboyant dialogues in these films.
