Aishwarya Rai Wasn't Barred From Entering Cannes; Claims Director
There were reports that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was denied entry at a press conference for Jazbaa at the recently held 68th Cannes Film Festival.
While, these reports created quite a buzz among the actress's fans, Jazbaa director Sanjay Gupta slammed the news claiming it to be false.
Reports suggested that Aishwarya Rai and the team of Jazbaa was barred from entering the venue because the actress was not having the Blue Pass, following which they had to wait for around 20 minutes at the gate.
Although, there has not been any reaction from Aishwarya, her director Sanjay Gupta took to Twitter and slammed the reports. Apparently, DNA was the first one to publish the report and the Jazbaa director took a dig at the media house.
Sanjay posted a picture of the report and tweeted, "This stupid story was so bizarre on the net that we did not even bother responding to it. And DNA prints it. IDIOTIC! (sic)"
The Jazbaa director then made another sarcastic tweet saying, "Dear DNA, jaane kahaan gaye woh din jab stories likhne se pehle journos would call people on both sides of the story. (sic)"
