When Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Left Karan Johar's Film Because Of Saif Ali Khan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Karan Johar are working together for the first time in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Karan says that he had also offered Dostana to Aish. But the actress left it because of Saif Ali Khan.

In a recent interview to DNA, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan revealed that she had said yes to Dostana but left it later because of Saif Ali Khan. "Through the years, we kept discussing subjects and we thought we will work on Dostana together."

"Then I got married. Saif was there in the film initially but after our marriage, he was like, ‘Abhishek and Aishwarya will be together in the film. So it won't look right'. But I was like, ‘The role is of the two guys," Aishwarya added.

Aishwaraya Rai Bachchan says that because of Saif Ali Khan she decided to step out of Dostana but eventually Saif too opted out of the film.
