While, Deepika Padukone's ad with her mom Ujjala was for a jewellery brand, Alia Bhatt and her mother Rozi Razdan graced the TV show for a cosmetic brand.
The two ads came up almost simultaneously and while, both the ads touched the audience's hearts, comparisons are being made between Deepika and Alia, which the latter feels is unfair.
"I have obviously watched Deepika's ad and I loved it. It's a beautiful ad. But it would be really unfair to compare both the ads. Deepika's is a very different ad. It's far more emotional and sensitive. Mine is a lot more playful and fun. These two belong to different spaces completely", said Alia Bhatt.
As a matter of fact, Alia is not very comfortable to be compared with Deepika in any case. "Deepika is much more mature than I am. Probably because I am much younger than her and I am still in that here-now-there-then space. So, for Deepika, there's much more sensitivity and emotional content in that ad space. Plus, our products are very different", she added.
