In a candid interview to Zoom Tv Shahid Kapoor said that Alia Bhatt never answers his calls and that whenever he tries to call her, her phone is always busy. Shahid also told that Alia is always talking to a certain 'Sid-marketing'. Zoom TV said in their programme that Shahid was hinting at Sidharth Malhotra.

However, when Sidharth Malhotra was asked about his relationship with Alia by a leading website, he had said, ''Rumours that we were seeing each other? Ya, I was just seeing her in and out and 45 days I've only seen her all throughout Kapoor And Sons."

Sidharth further added, ''These rumours don't affect my relation with her. I think we are in a profession that we've to make belief and convince people. Whatever we say can't really get misconstrued at times because we're professional liars.''
