Alia Bhatt Plays Safe On Replacing Kareena Kapoor In Shuddhi
It is known that Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan have been roped in for Karan Johar's Shuddhi, which was initially offered to Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan.
Alia, who happens to be a big fan of Kareena, was recently asked to comment on replacing Bebo in the film and the Highway actress played it quite safe.
Karan Johar certainly had a hard time finalising cast for the movie Shuddhi, until he announced that Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have been chosen for the same.
However, the fact that Hrithik and Kareena were the first choice of KJo still makes people suspicious about the replacement.
When asked to comment on replacing Kareena in Shuddhi, Alia said, "I don't think it's about replacing or anything at all in this situation. It's just a film that I am doing, that I have been cast for with a director and another actor, and there is a producer involved. It's very simple. I don't want to say too much about it. Of course, there is a lot that's being said about the whole thing. And I want the visuals and all to come out for the people to see what the film is looking like, rather than me talking about it".
Alia Bhatt certainly does not want to make things sour with her idol, Kareena Kapoor and the young diva knows how to keep it simple and safe.
