Bollywood Celebs Mourn The Tragic End Of Aruna Shanbaug

Aruna Shanbaug, who was in a coma for as many as 42 years after being raped and tortured, finally succumbed at KEM hospital.

While, the entire nation mourns the death of Aruna, Bollywood celebs also expressed grief and prayed for a better life after death for the lady.

It is to be mentioned, Aruna Shanbaug was a nurse at KEM hospital in Mumbai when she was raped in 1973 by a staff member of the same hospital. As reported, Shanbaug was found unconscious at the hospital basement with an iron chain tangled around her neck.

Reportedly, the attacker named Sohanlal Bharta Valmiki raped her and chocked her with a dog chain which resulted in cut of oxygen supply to brain. Since then, the lady was in coma and was on ventilator support.

While, Aruna Shanbaug died today at the age of 68, several Bollywood celebrities like Rishi Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Madhur Bhandarkar, etc. took to Twitter to express their sadness and pray for her soul to rest in peace.
