The
much
awaited
movie
Badlapur
starring
Varun
Dhawan
has
passed
the
Censor
Board
screening
and
has
been
given
'A'
certificate.
Directed
by
Sriram
Raghavan,
Badlapur
is
an
intense
action
thriller
which
created
hype
with
some
steamy
scenes
as
well
as
violence.
It
has
been
learnt
that
the
Censor
Board
was
ready
to
grant
'UA'
certificate
to
the
movie
Badlapur
with
the
condition
that
the
makers
should
delete
some
of
the
scenes
from
the
film.
However,
director
Sriram
Raghavan
reportedly
was
not
ready
to
compromise
with
any
of
the
scenes
in
Badlapur
and
was
rather
happy
with
the
film
getting
'A'
certificate.
The
Board
asked
director
of
Varun
Dhawan's
Badlapur
to
make
some
major
cuts
which
included
some
love-making
scenes
and
few
violent
action
portions,
if
he
wants
the
movie
to
have
'UA'
certificate.
Nevertheless,
Sriram
Raghavan
opined
that
he
is
okay
with
Badlapur
getting
'A'
certificate
but
he
is
unwilling
to
chop
out
any
scene.
The
movie
Badlapur
starring
Varun
Dhawan
in
lead
also
features
Nawazuddin
Siddiqui,
Yami
Gautam,
Divya
Dutta
and
Huma
Qureshi.
