Bollywood's Blind Men Return! Aankhen 2 Set To Roll Out Soon

By Vinod D'souza

Yet again, Amitabh Bachchan would play the main role in Aankhen 2, and also have the company of three blind men to satisfy his hunger, greed and vengence.

The characters would be the same just like Aankhen in 2002, which was a blockbuster hit that featured Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal as three blind men who successfully loot a bank as per the instructions of Amitabh Bachchan.

A decade later, Anees Bazmee would be rolling out Aankhen 2, however this time, the three blind men would not be Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal, the actors would be replaced by someone else. The actors who would play blind men roles are not confirmed yet.

The movie Aankhen was a breather in Bollywood which saw the same mundane love stories during 2000-2002, Aankhen came as a freshly innovative concept and Indian audiences loved the thrilling factor of the movie.

The idea of blind men robbing a bank itself was unimaginable, the whole plot of the movie was perfectly crafted and made audiences sit on the edge of their seats.

A lot of expectations are on Anees Bazmee after Welcome Back, and now that Aankhen 2 is confirmed, fans of the movie would be eagerly waiting for the sequel.
