Bombay Velvet First Look: Anushka Sharma As 'Rosie Noronha'

First look of 'Jhonny Balraj' aka Ranbir Kapoor in Bombay Velvet was launched by the makers of the film earlier and now Anushka Sharma's look is out.

The actress took to it her Twitter handle and shared her first look in the Anurag Kashyap film. Anushka plays a Jazz singer in the film. Ranbir Kapoor as Jhonny Balraj will be seen as a street fighter.

Bombay Velvet is based on Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables set in early 1950's. Karan Johar will be seen in a negative avatar for the first time.

Written by Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Vikramaditya Motwane, the film also features KJo, Remo Fernandes, Kay Kay Menon, Vivaan Shah and others.

Produced by Phantom Films and Fox Star Studious, Bombay Velvet is slated to release on May 15, 2015.
