Brothers featuring Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez has obtained a rather good response from the viewers. Critics on the other hand find the movie so-so!

The film is directed by Agneepath director Karan Malhotra who has officially remade the Hollywood film Warrior. Brothers which also features Jackie Shroff and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles is based on Mixed Martial arts (MMA).

Jackie Shroff is essaying the role of a father, Gary Fernandez to David played by Akshay and Monty played by Sidharth. When the family gets to know that Monty is a lovechild of Gary, things go haywire, Gary's wife ends up dead for which he gets jailed.

The brothers separate as David hates them both as they were responsible for his mother's death, even though it was by accident.

The critics got a sneak peek into the movie through the special screening held on Thursday night but the Indian audiences have to give their verdict after the first day first show.

Early audience review from the overseas show have panned the film to be decent and a great one time watch.
