Cheating Case Against Shruti Haasan Withdrawn; Actress Thanks Supporters

Shruti Haasan was in news recently after a cheating case was filed against the actress for backing out from a film.

However, things ended up on a positive note as both the parties have settled the issue and the case has been withdrawn.

As a matter of fact, Tamil Film Producers Council (TPFC) and South Indian Film Artists Association (SIAA) intervened into the matter and helped in solving the issue outside court.

Meanwhile, a statement has been released on behalf of Shruti Haasan thanking all the parties.

"In light of the case filed by Picture House Media Ltd against Shruti Haasan, the case was dismissed today at the Hyderabad District Court and the producers withdrew the case themselves."

"Shruti is very thankful for the intervention of SIAA on the matter as the lawyer sided with her cause due to harassment meted out to her."

"Thanks to the support of the industry bodies, she has also decided to withdraw the defamation claim against the producers for misrepresentation and revealing misleading facts to the media."
