KC Bokadia tried to portray the dark side of politics in the film adding elements of corruption, jealousy and sex. Mallika Sherawat who is a dancer in the film, gets intimate with Om Puri and makes a tape of their bed scene, only to blackmail the politician to meet some bigger interests.

Then starts a game in which Om Puri does all to get hold of the tape and adamant Mallika Sherawat keeps up the pressure on him.

The film went through some thorough scanning of the Censor Board prior to its release due to the use of abusive language and high sexual content.
