Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was back on the ramp as the stunning show stopper for Manish Malhotra's finale show at the Amazon India Couture Week.
The actress looked stunning as the 50's empress when she walked down the ramp for Manish. "Manish is a very special person. It was great walking the ramp for him. I have known Manish for a long time. He visualises clothes like no one. His visual presentation is amazing. It is a visual treat. Another reason I like to collaborate with Manish is because we both share passion and sincerity for our respective work," Aishwarya told.
As she strut her beauty down the ramp, her mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan, veteran actress Shabana Azmi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sophie Choudhry, Kriti Sanon, sarod player Ayaan Ali, boxer-actor Vijendra Singh, cheered on from the front row.
The last time Aishwarya walked the ramp was in 2010 at the Couture Week. "This is familiar turf for me. I have been part of this platform for the longest time now. There was so much positive energy. I enjoyed it a lot. It never felt like I was gone for a while," she said.
Malhotra celebrated the completion of 10 years of his label 'Manish Malhotra'. Congratulating the designer, Aishwarya said, "Manish has done very well for himself and people all over the world, especially brides, would want to wear his creations in weddings, parties."
