Filmfare Awards 2014: Best Lyricist Award

The 60th Britannia Filmfare Awards, 2014 is on and there have been a lot of speculations on which films and stars will get highest number of awards this year.

Talking about the best lyricist award, there are five nominations and each one of them are very deserving.

The nominations for the best lyricist award include Irshad Kamil for the song ‘Pathaka guddi' from Highway, Amitabh Bhattacharya for the song ‘Zehnaseeb' from Hasee Toh Phasee, Gulzar for the song ‘Bismil' from Haider, Kaushar Munir for the song ‘Suno na sangemarmar' from Youngistaan, Rashmi Singh for the song ‘Muskurane ki wajah' from Citylights. This verdict was also a tough one considering the nominations.

However, Best Lyricist Award goes to Rashmi Singh for the song ‘Muskurane ki wajah' from Citylights. Congrats to the winner.
