Talking about the best playback singer (male) award, there are five nominations and each one of them are very deserving.

The nominations for the best playback singer (male) award include Arijit Singh for the song ‘Mast magan' from 2 States, Ankit Tiwari for the song ‘Galliyan' from Ek Villain, Arijit Sing for the song ‘Suno na sangemarmar' from Youngistaan, Benny Dayal from the song ‘Locha-e-ulfat' from 2 States, Shekhar Ravjiani for the song ‘Zehnaseeb' from Hasee Toh Phasee

The jury certainly had a tough time selecting the best one out of these five brilliant singers and songs. However, the winner of Best Playback singer (male) has been announced and it's none other than Ankit Tiwari for the song 'Galliyan' from Ek Villain.
