The year 2015, was an interesting year for Bollywood and had such awesome movie releases. Just like every year, 2015 has given out several blockbuster movies, most awaited movies and unfortunately, a few movies went down the drain.
Movies such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Piku, Baby, Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani minted a lot of money at the box office.
A few movies, had a lot of expectations but failed miserably at the box office. Movies such as Calendar Girls, Shamitabh, Shaandaar and Roy were total disasters in spite of having the best actors and directors, these movies were a huge dud and went without a trace.

The year 2015, also marked the debut of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty for the movie Hero. Despite Saman Khan's intense promotions, the movie did not appeal to the masses, and was a moderate hit.

Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut starrer, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, is a hilarious movie which made the audiences laugh too hard. The movie, is a gem of 2015.
Talvar
The movie Talvar, is based on the real life tragic story, on the murder of a young girl. Talvar, stars Irrfan Khan and Konkona Sen in the lead roles.
Baby
Baby, starring Akshay Kumar, did really well at the box office. The movie, is based on a fictional task force titled, Baby. The movie, got a lot of positive reviews.
Badlapur
Badlapur, came by a surprise and won the audiences hearts. The movie stars Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles.
Drishyam
Drishyam, stars Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Tabu. The movie is a suspense family drama, and has nail biting scenes that would keep you at the edge of your seats.
Tamasha
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Tamasha, had a good opening at the box office. Imtiaz Ali's directorial, did moderately well at the box office.
