How Sweet! Deepika Padukone Says She Misses Shahrukh Khan Very Much
Deepika Padukone, made her debut starring opposite Shahrukh Khan in Om Shanti Om, in 2007. Now eight years down the line in 2015, Deepika's movie Bajirao Mastani, would clash with Shahrukh's Dilwale.
The leggy lass, Deepika Padukone, says its an emotional moment for her, and would miss Shahrukh Khan on the day of their respective movie's release. Deepika, was quoted as saying,
"I am definitely going to miss Shah Rukh on that day. Eight years ago, it was a very special day when I started my journey, my career. So, the feeling is there that I will miss him as he is part of some other movie. But having said that, we both are doing very different films. As an audience it is very exciting that we will get to see two such different kinds of movies."
Ironically, when Om Shanti Om released in 2007, it clashed with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya; history repeats in 2015, and this time, Deepika Padukone is on Sanjay's team.
Bajirao Mastani, evoked controversy after the descendants of Peshwa Bajirao and Mastani objected to the songs in the movie and claimed the film has distorted facts about their ancestors. Deepika Padukone, choose to remaim mum about the issue and says that the film-makers are the right people to comment on the issue.
Deepika Padukone, was quoted as saying,
"As an audience's point of view, I am very accepting of the films the way they are. When I go to the theatre as an audience, I don't challenge anything or question anything. I watch the movie and then base my opinion on that."
